    What to expect

Do I need to sign up?

No. Just turn up. Logging the run in the Nike Run Club app is welcome and never required.

    How fast is it?

Every pace is welcome. A coach leads and two pacers run with the group, one at the back.

    What happens after?

We spend 15 minutes stretching and having coffee at the meeting point.

    Can I try the shoes?

Yes, but only once per person for the whole Own The Mile campaign, in any city.

    How it works:

    1. Sign up at the run and show your ID to crew staff. Staff check whether you have already tried the shoes at any Own The Mile run.
    2. Run in a pair of the Own The Mile shoe during this run.
    3. At the end of the run, either buy the pair or hand it back.

After the run: there is no take-home trial and no return after the run. If you have already tried the shoes at any Own The Mile run, you can't try them again.

We check your ID only to confirm you haven't tried the shoes before. We keep a record that you have tried them, not a copy of your ID.

    Do my miles count?

Miles you log count towards your next Mile Pass tier.

    Will there be photos?

A photographer joins one run a month. Ask a pacer for an opt-out wristband if you'd rather not appear.
